Tales from an Ancient Book

“When great plagues strike, or turmoil erupts, ghosts often appear. This sect sends people to eliminate them, protecting the country and keeping its people safe.”

This passage comes from an old, worn book made of sheepskin. It roughly means that after a great plague, disaster, or war, ghosts often appear and wreak havoc among the people. At such times, this sect sends people to wipe them out and keep the common folk safe.
