An Introduction to Common Chinese Medicinal Herbs and Their Uses

This book is a collection of notes organized from lectures by a teacher of clinical Chinese materia medica. Listening to the audiobook alongside a textbook on clinical Chinese materia medica makes for an even better learning experience.

Chapter One summarizes the effects of commonly used Chinese medicines. It's ideal for last-minute cramming before a Chinese materia medica exam: the key points run to just a few thousand words, and memorizing them should be enough to pass.

Chapters Two and Three discuss methods for studying Chinese materia medica.

From Chapter Four onward, each medicinal substance is discussed in detail and analyzed in depth, making these chapters suitable for anyone who wants to master the subject. Completing this book will also be a great help to those taking the licensed pharmacist exam.
