Qin Feng awakens two hundred years in the future, when Earth has become a desolate wasteland. After the alien virus Rc spreads, some humans flee the planet, some are infected and become zombies, and a small number mutate after infection into superpowered beings known as Metahumans. In this apocalyptic world, Qin Feng searches for his identity while growing stronger by the day. By chance, he is rescued by Ji Fei of the Metahuman Association and joins them to fight the zombies, sabotage an alien civilization's trial program, and even face the legendary mutated beasts. Together with his friends, Qin Feng protects their former home: Earth.
