"Remnants of Martial Arts" is a work written in ancient Chinese script. Most of the records in the book are anecdotes about boxing masters from central Fujian. The so-called "remaining hearing" refers to what "I" saw and heard. Lin Shu recorded the deeds of the famous martial arts masters he saw and heard. These famous masters may be unruly, elegant and romantic, or funny and cynical, but they all demonstrate the spirit of "martial arts".
