The Road to Shared Prosperity

Jianzhou City in Hannan Province actively answered the national call to revitalize rural areas and established the Jianzhou Rural Revitalization Group. After three years in business, however, poor investment decisions left it deeply in the red and on the verge of bankruptcy. Wu Mingdao, the protagonist, is pushed aside by his colleagues and reluctantly takes over the failing state-owned enterprise. Through strategic repositioning, a cultural overhaul, and business-model innovation, he perseveres through hardship and works tirelessly, eventually leading the company to a listing on the ChiNext board. This is an inspiring story of entrepreneurship.
