The male lead, Su Haozhe, transmigrates simply because he is sleepy and nods off. He arrives in a world filled with ghosts and magic, where he meets a wonderful roommate. The two of them go to a run-down building behind their school to film a creepy video, but they fall victim to a ghostly wall and are dragged into an illusion woven by a ghost. Luckily, Shen Junfeng steps in and helps them escape. While Shen Junfeng is sealing the ghost, one of its clones gets away and causes Su Haozhe and the others plenty of trouble. They manage to deal with each incident in time, and as Su Haozhe and Shen Junfeng grow closer, they save each other and fall for one another. Yet a much greater conspiracy lurks behind it all.
At first, Su Haozhe is easily embarrassed, but he is full of mischievous ideas and has a vivid imagination.
At first, Shen Junfeng seems cold but is warm underneath. Later, he turns into a clingy puppy in matters of the heart and a fierce wolfhound when it comes to getting things done.
