Over the May Day Holiday, I Sent My Whole Family to Feed the Bears

During the May Day holiday, my younger brother suggested that the whole family drive to the uninhabited Hoh Xil region. I said it was too dangerous, and since we didn’t even have a professional with us, we’d be better off going somewhere else.

Mom thought I was ruining my brother’s fun and slapped me across the face. “Go if you want. If you don’t, get lost.”

In the end, our family set off anyway. That night, someone stopped our car.

I warned Dad not to open the door, but he called me selfish and forced me to open it.

Outside was a human-faced bear. It clamped its jaws around my arm.

Mom didn’t save me. Instead, she used all her strength to shove me out.

When I opened my eyes again, I was back on the day my brother suggested going to the uninhabited region.

I warned them again, and Mom still told me to get lost.

Great. I was just waiting for you to say that.
