It seems unbelievable that they would join the anti-Japanese movement, but in fact it is not surprising, because the children of this class were the most highly educated at the time and were most easily exposed to the anti-Japanese patriotic sentiment brought about by the student movement. At the same time, it also reflected the anti-enemy spirit of the same hatred of the enemy from top to bottom in Chinese society at that time.
