Those Days I Lived in Great Song

Set against the history of the Song dynasty, with Zhao Lingzhi at its center, this story follows an avid angler who transmigrates into the body of Zhao Lingzhi during the reign of Emperor Shenzong of Song. He becomes a disciple of Su Shi and a member of the imperial clan. Then Wang Anshi's reforms leave him without an income, and Wang Pang breaks his arms and legs. Hoping to live better in the Northern Song, and to secure the support of Pang Anshi, Su Shi, Su Zhe, Lü Gongzhu and others, he works hard to make money and improve life for the people in his region. He navigates among the imperial clan, the reformists, and the conservatives, enjoying life in the same era as the Four Scholars of the Su School.
