The former Sui emperor, Zhao Guang, was vain and obsessed with grand achievements. He launched attacks on neighboring countries in every direction, while imposing harsh taxes at home, indulging in pleasure and travel, and obsessing over immortality. To boost morale, Zhao Guang personally led an expedition against the northern barbarians, but an early snowfall wiped out his million-strong army. This crushing defeat exposed the weakness of the Great Sui. In response, the founding emperor of the current dynasty, Murong Yuan, raised an army, brought the Sui to an end, and established the Great Yan dynasty, which has now stood for more than seventy years.
Lu Tianming, a soul who had originally lived on Blue Star, was suddenly swept along by the wheels of fate and transported to this high-martial world, taking over Liu Bo's body.
New to this place, Lu Tianming found himself in a completely unfamiliar world. Its martial artists were immensely powerful, their sword energy sweeping across the land, and they could split mountains and shatter rocks with a casual gesture. He, by contrast, felt adrift in an unknown sea, confused and helpless.
Just as he was at his most desperate, a mysterious light appeared in his mind. He obtained a sword technique through a System, and Lu Tianming knew that in a world where the strong ruled, those without power had no say. So he chose to bide his time, honing his skills for three years before soaring to the top.
As his strength grew, Liu Bo also began to notice the many inconsistencies hidden within the dynasty. Little by little, he uncovered shocking secrets: this dynasty concealed countless dark schemes and conspiracies.
What is the true nature of the struggle for the throne?
Just how powerful is the current emperor, Murong Fu, to have defeated so many experts in succession?
Why was the former dynasty's million-strong army wiped out overnight?
The answers can only be found in the book.
Overall it's pretty good, especially in the early stages it's fast and fun to watch, but later on it's a bit verbose and slow. I hope it stays as fast as ever!
