The world setting is quite novel, the combination of chemistry and magic, but the plot is too old-fashioned, still hiding the identity and strength, and then pretending to be cool.
The setting is good, but the first-person perspective is mixed, and it looks like it's pretending to be a slap in the face, but it's actually a shame.
