Arknights: The Stars

When civilization met its end in the midst of annihilation, every “human,” at every time and in every place, chose their own ending, and would witness “new life” among the stars. And now, the one raised up by countless “ideals” and borne into the starry sky by multitudes of “humans” finally saw the truth. Better to nurture a new heart than to tend a lamp on the verge of going out. Beneath the weight of their fellow beings, it and the “Preserver” pressed down on the termination mark of the cross-civilization plan, with no room for regret. It was a complementary duality, the interweaving of mind and body, the endlessness of division and imprisonment. It was... the purpose of their original choice.
