Walking the Immortal Path Between Yin and Yang

On history’s great turning wheel, every age produces a few heroes bold enough to risk everything. They’ll put their lives on the line so everyone can enjoy a happy life without shame or restraint. Our Yang Yudan, though, was just an unremarkable young factory worker, quietly keeping his head down and doing his job. Then, by accident, he stumbled into a supernatural free-for-all, setting out on his own “unconventional” path to immortality.

Along the way, some enemies are as pesky as mosquitoes, but more often he’s fighting shoulder to shoulder with beautiful young women. We’ll watch Yang Yudan use a few mysterious drops of “Bodhi Counting Water” (don’t ask where the water came from) and cleverly drip them into Honglian’s twin petals (don’t get the wrong idea), showing off his one-of-a-kind charm.

We’ll also see him faithfully carry out Lord Erlang Shen’s command: save all living beings, not only rescuing himself but bringing a little light to other people’s lives, too. This is a legendary tale of growth and adventure, love and sacrifice, faith and promises, but it absolutely refuses to play by the rules. Yang Yudan’s adventures will inspire every soul with a dream in their heart, unafraid of hardship and longing for freedom, and tell them: “Don’t be scared. Stick with me and there’ll be food on the table!”
