Choose a martial art and invest lifespan to [simulate its evolution].

Shen Qi transmigrates into a world of demons. With only average talent in martial arts, he can improve his strength only by burning through his lifespan. Fortunately, slaying demons lets him absorb their lifespans and simulate the evolution of martial arts.

From then on, Shen Qi gets hooked on [burning his life for power].

To him, demons are no longer terrifying man-eaters. They are walking treasures!

The demons sometimes wonder: Why is Shen Qi so determined to pick fights with them? They haven’t even offended him!

More than once, people warn Shen Qi to rein it in. The waters here are too treacherous, and you can’t possibly kill them all.

Shen Qi says, “Afraid of rough waters? Have you forgotten I used to guard the demon-suppression post? Do you know what they say there? The rougher the waters, the more lifespan the demons have!”

Shen Qi draws his saber and looks up at the endless demon army. Today is the day he achieves immortality!
