At thirty, Lin Wei is a mid-level manager at an internet company, on the verge of a promotion when she suddenly receives an anonymous email from someone who has died. Attached is an "Untitled Memo" documenting the company's shady dealings over the past three years: falsified data, leaked customer information, and backroom deals among senior executives. The initials on the memo match those of Chen Mo, her former colleague who recently resigned and died in a supposedly accidental car crash. Lin Wei discovers that her own name is also on the memo's "List of Those in the Know." If the memo goes public, she will become the ultimate scapegoat. If she hides it, she will not only betray her professional principles but may also be silenced by the people behind it.
