[Both protagonists transmigrate + ex-wife chasing crematorium + 1v1 + devoted to each other + happy ending]
Female lead’s perspective:
Song Zhao transmigrates into a book and becomes a cannon-fodder supporting female character who dies early.
The key to changing her fate lies with the villain who treats human life as worthless: the tyrant.
To stay alive and find her way home, Song Zhao goes out of her way to please him.
When he suffers unbearable headaches, she reads countless ancient books and seeks out every famous doctor to cure him.
When assassins strike, she shields him and takes a blade for him.
When an enemy nation humiliates him, she’s willing to take her own life to prove his innocence.
She gives him her whole heart and does everything he asks, yet all she gets in return is one sentence from him:
“This is what you owe me.”
Only then does she finally realize:
The man before her isn’t some tyrant from a book.
He’s the ex-boyfriend she used, abandoned, and hurt so deeply!
…
Male lead’s perspective:
Chi Wang knows he comes from a humble background, and that he and the woman he loves are worlds apart.
He has nothing else to offer her, only his whole heart.
But in return, he gets a betrayal that leaves a wound that will never heal.
He secretly swears that if they ever meet again, he’ll make her wish she were dead.
But he never imagined that day would come so soon, or in such an absurd way.
He thought his heart was as hard as stone, yet when she cries, his brows still furrow.
[It’s both retribution and torment. Bound together through two lifetimes, neither of them should expect to get off easy.]
The concept of this book is really novel, and it's a double-crossing. I just ask the author to stop thinking about it. I really want to see the plot behind it, and I'm looking forward to it🥰
Don't stop updating. I still want to know the follow-up, I want to see how big the author's imagination is [laughing]
