Synopsis

A Bungou Stray Dogs fanfic. No romance. OOC warning. Slice of life.

After committing suicide, Makino Ryu discovered that he hadn’t died after all. Instead, he had transmigrated into the body of someone with the same name, going from being surnamed Mu to Makino. Damn it, he’d become Japanese. Maybe he really should just die after all.

But why had he run into another suicide maniac? And it seemed like he couldn’t die, so how was he supposed to do it? Hey!

So, in order to die, Makino Ryu kept doing reckless things.

“So Yokohama really does have a second suicide maniac?”

“Suicide is such a pleasant thing, you know. Atsushi, want to try drowning yourself?”

“Dazai! Don’t ask Atsushi to kill himself with you!”

“Come on, Kunikida, don’t get so worked up~”

“You bastard Dazai, don’t encourage Makino to kill himself!”

“The slug is so annoying, when Makino’s the one who wants to do it!”

“You damn mackerel, why don’t you take a look at the book in Makino’s hands!”

The Complete Manual of Suicide

“Huh? When did Makino take that? This is a super rare book I spent ages tracking down.”

“Dazai, red mushrooms are so pretty. I think they could totally help us achieve our goal of dying!”

“Makino!”

“Dazai!”

Why Can’t I Find the D.Gray-man Fic I’m Looking For?

I'm looking for stories about the little stray dog, but none of the ones I've found are to my taste! I want the original "Bungou Stray Dogs" cast! No crossover anime! No OOC! Either no CP, or a CP like Dazai/Chuuya, Akutagawa/Atsushi, or Fukuzawa/Mori (absolutely no swapping or breaking them up!!!! I'll lose it 😭)

Bungo Stray Dogs, Jujutsu Kaisen, Katekyo Hitman Reborn, or Any Crossover, with a Male Protagonist

I want something similar to Bungou: The Literary Greats Always Want Me to Treat Them. Preferably no romance, but romance is fine too. I want the protagonist to be doted on by everyone, similar to My Favorite Character. That one is really good, and it has a second part, which is a crossover with multiple anime.

Any Stories About Dazai for Certified Dazai Fans?

I want a story where Dazai Osamu isn’t harmed, or where he’s the protagonist. No Dazai/Chuuya, preferably no romance at all; if there is a pairing, it should ideally be with a canon character. No wildly out-of-character portrayals. Please save us Dazai fans, I’m dying here (sobbing uncontrollably).

Dazai Transmigrates!! He Must Be Doted On!!

Looking for books similar to "The Bandage Freak Came to Life! Luffy and the Others Were Shocked!". Dazai should transmigrate to other worlds; reaction-fic formats are fine too. You have to treat Dazai like a precious little darling. I absolutely can’t handle stories where the author clearly hates him... Romance is fine, but no female lead, please!
