He Nianyi, a gifted and beautiful painter × Chen Jin, a business magnate in Jingbei
He Nianyi thinks their meeting was just a coincidence, never realizing it was all part of Chen Jin's long-laid plans.
Chen Jin met the dazzling, bold He Nianyi that year, and the breathtaking sight of her at their first meeting stayed etched in his heart.
When they met again, he used every means at his disposal to bind them tightly together. In Jingbei, He Nianyi is a bold, showy flower, and Chen Jin will always support her.
“Niannian, I want you to be a kapok tree growing beside me. I have my bronze branches and iron trunk, and you have your bright red blossoms. I will always be behind you.” What began as a passing whim soon became an all-consuming love.
“He Nianyi, we were meant to be together.”
