Mecha Showdown: I Know a Few Moves Myself

“In 1974, he entered a full-contact fighting tournament in Southeast Asia for the first time and won the championship.

In 1980, he defeated a Japanese powerhouse...”

Of course, the person described above wasn't Chen Mingfei, but his grandfather, a master of ancient Chinese martial arts and Chen-style Tai Chi.

Though Chen Mingfei is the heir to ancient Chinese martial arts and Chen-style Tai Chi, he made a pact with his family not to fight others lightly. This leaves him in a bit of a bind.

By chance, Chen Mingfei is rescued by a young girl named Jiang Wu.

As he finds himself drawn to Jiang Wu, his friend Lai Junjie introduces him to arena mecha and mecha combat.

“Could you tell us what you think of competitor Chen Mingfei?”

“He's a rogue, through and through!”

“Why say that? He seems like a nice guy.”

“Since when do mecha know martial arts?! He just comes at you with a couple of punches!”

When mecha know martial arts, no one can stop them.
