Once upon a time, I had a pure heart and believed that unless I didn't want to do anything in this world, I would definitely do something about it. However, the reality is far more complicated than I imagined.
As time went by, I gradually tasted the bitterness of reality. Those boundaries that I thought would be easily erased by love are actually deeply engraved in every aspect of life. I have to face the fact that life is not a fantasy divorced from reality, nor is it as perfect as depicted in novels.
As the years went by, and after experiencing countless challenges and tribulations, I finally began to realize some belated truths. I began to understand that real life is a journey into the world that requires us to devote ourselves wholeheartedly, rather than being immersed in a dream weaved by ourselves.
I learned to face the regrets of missing out. I understand that some people who love each other will be missed inexplicably, and some people who are together may not necessarily be the favorites. Everyone will have regrets in their lives. We cannot turn back time. But it is these regrets that have taught me to cherish the present and how to embrace every moment in life with a more open mind.
I learned how to live my life happily. I realized that happiness is not an external pursuit but an inner state. No matter how the external environment changes, as long as I can adjust my mentality, I can find the source of happiness.
Today, I have experienced pain and learned to grow. I don't forgive others for hurting me, and I won't hate them intentionally, because both love and hate require feelings. I just want to live happily every day. When I figured it out, I seemed to have regained my innocent heart, and felt like I was reborn in Nirvana.
