Wangxian: Glazed Memories Across Two Lifetimes

[Two lifetimes of crystal, one lifetime of love]

Thirty thousand years ago, the Demon King Wen Ruohan was dissatisfied with the Celestial Emperor’s rule over the Three Realms.

He led an army of demons and monsters in an assault on the Immortal Realm, while his left and right commanders, Wen Chao and Wen Xu, marched straight for the Ghost Realm.

A great war was imminent, bringing devastation to all living things.

The deity Baoshan could not bear to see the Three Realms suffer such torment, and came to their aid.

The Demon King was no match for them. He released vast amounts of corrupt energy, leaving the Three Realms in chaos, then forcibly expelled the demon pearl from his body. The pearl shot toward the heavens, and Baoshan immediately struck it down.

The demon pearl contained a hundred thousand years of demonic energy, and its passage still harmed the heavens. Unnoticed by anyone, the one and only colorful piece of glazed stone was forced to split away from it, becoming an independent colored stone.

The demon pearl then fell into an uninhabited place in the abyss of the deep sea, where it was sealed away. Wen Ruohan, too, was suppressed within an ice-heart lotus.

The upheaval in the Three Realms finally ended with the defeat of the Demon Realm.

Nuwa sensed the spirit stone stirring and went to investigate. Seeing what had happened, she could only sigh.

“Fate and karma are truly awakening and taking form. From here on, your future depends on your own fortunes. I shall name you Wei Ying. For the sake of the Three Realms, do good deeds and return as soon as you can.”

After speaking, Nuwa’s gaze shifted. Within the glazed stone, she saw a colorful spirit pearl. The stone itself held a spirit pearl! Astonished, she murmured, “Such is the time; such is fate.”

She shook her head, and her form slowly faded away.
