Two food-delivery brothers, Lu Chuan and Li Long, were lucky enough to travel to two local gangsters in Guanshanqiao Town in eastern Zhejiang in 1936. Both of them think that they can have a better way out. One always thinks of joining the guerrillas to have a good future, while the other thinks of wandering between the various forces to make ends meet. During the civil war, Lu Chuan finally did not want to endure decades of difficulties and fled to Japan with his men to establish the Lu Chuan Society, becoming the underground emperor of the underworld.
