[Detective Conan] Watching Over Through Reincarnation

“What do you think makes a truly perfect ending?” Lingzhou Huasui didn't know, so he searched for his answer through dozens of cycles. “Waaah! Little Lingzhou, what are you standing around for!? Hurry up, we're going to be late for the group dinner!” “Boom!” Lingzhou Huasui had just run downstairs, panting, when an explosion thundered. The phone in Jinpei Matsuda's hand dropped unconsciously. The piercing screams of people rang out, then fell silent moments later. “Hey, don't look so dejected. You have to keep living!” “Matsuda!!! Matsuda, don't go up there, I beg you, I beg you...” Damn it, even if you're alone, you have to keep your head up and look forward. “It's all right, Huasui is a good kid. We all know that. Leave it to us. Huasui, don't listen...” The blue-eyed young man covered his ears with both hands and smiled gently. Lingzhou Huasui took the good-luck charm Rei Furuya handed him with trembling hands. Embroidered on it was a delicate blue-eyed plush cat. “Hey! What are you talking about? Gossiping behind someone's back isn't something a police officer should do!” Outside the ICU, Natalie sobbed in her parents' arms, nearly fainting. Lingzhou Huasui watched the bed being wheeled past him and felt the cold seep through his entire body. “Hmm, this part isn't right. I should write it from another theoretical perspective...” “Mr. Furuya sacrificed himself in the final operation. This is the letter he left for you.” “They're all dead. I should go join them, too.” The white-haired, odd-eyed young man lay covered in blood inside an abandoned building. At the sound of police sirens at dawn, he closed his eyes forever.
