"Feng Shen Yan Yi", commonly known as "Feng Shen Bang", is a long novel about gods and demons, with one hundred original chapters, and was written around the Longqing and Wanli years of the Ming Dynasty. The novel extensively draws on folklore, and performs a large degree of artistic processing and fiction, interpreting it into a wonderful mythological story with Jiang Ziya assisting the Zhou Dynasty in defeating Zhou, with the fighting methods of Chan and Jie as the main line, in which gods and demons fight for wisdom and courage, each shows off his magical powers, and performs battles in formations. It has been widely circulated for hundreds of years and is a popular mythological masterpiece.
