Reborn, I Dote on My Eldest Daughter

I have twin daughters.

The younger one is sweet-talking but cries easily, and likes to fight with her older sister over things.

The older one is well-behaved and never makes a fuss. I thought that was only right.

The older one married young.

I didn't pay much attention to her.

When it was time for the younger one to marry,

I did everything myself, and the dowry I prepared for her was far more generous than her sister's.

But in her eyes, everything I did was only what I was supposed to do.

She even felt closer to the nanny than to me.

And when I was diagnosed with cancer, she resolutely cut ties with me as her mother.

Then I looked at the older daughter I had ignored.

She cared for me every day and did everything she could to raise money for my treatment.

When I opened my eyes again,

I put a roasted duck leg into my older daughter's bowl.

When the younger one protested, I snapped impatiently, "Cry, cry, cry. That's all you ever do."
