The terrifyingly unpredictable way the infection spread also caused all of humanity's military forces to collapse from within in an instant, leaving mankind with no means of resistance.
But this was only the beginning of the disaster. The virus in the air continued replicating at a geometric rate. When the atmosphere turned red, life across the globe would enter an age of great evolution, and Earth's ecosystem would return to its primordial, oxygen-rich state!
Vegetation grew wildly. Mutated beasts evolved from animals, and zombies ruled by Corpse Kings fought and evolved in a frenzy, seeking to devour the crystal cores in one another's brains.
Meanwhile, within the steel mega-city led by Lin Fan, people evolved in a different direction. The women were all stunningly beautiful, with snow-white skin, tall figures, and long, slender legs. The men were equally tall and striking, with exceptional bearing. Nobody showed any signs of aging, as if they were elves from a fantasy novel, enjoying life carefree!
They owed all of this to Lin Fan binding the Red Alert System at the start of the apocalypse. As zombie hordes launched attack after attack and waves of mutated beasts erupted from time to time, Lin Fan steadily developed his forces with the Red Alert System and drove them back again and again.
Airburst bombs, thermobaric bombs, napalm bombs, cluster munitions, high-explosive fragmentation rounds, tungsten-core armor-piercing rounds... nuclear bombs!

How come there is no one reading such a beautiful book?
It looks good. Can the author add more arms? Why doesn't the protagonist develop an air force? Helicopters can be considered to have a wider rescue range.
