The Gods Are All Hopeless Romantics, Only the Host Gets the Short End of the Stick

Ever since Chenxiang split open a mountain to save his mother, he opened the floodgates for an endless stream of people falling head over heels in love. From then on, the Three Realms were thrown into chaos, and the three thousand small worlds suffered devastating damage. With no other choice, the Heavenly Dao sent out Sijiu to restore the Three Realms and the three thousand worlds to their former days, when immortals had no romantic entanglements. Put simply, she was sent to clean up the mess these gods and immortals had made.

But once a mortal heart has stirred, how easy is it to take it back?

Sijiu figured that if it couldn't be taken back, they could just find someone else. With so many people across the three thousand worlds, surely the endless cycles of reincarnation could produce an immortal who had accumulated enough merit and endured all kinds of trials?

Even if an ancient god from the Ninth Heaven had fallen in love with a mortal, their feelings could simply be erased, allowing new gods to be born anew. So Sijiu didn't think it would be difficult. She rarely got to leave the Heavenly Dao and visit the three thousand worlds on her own, so this time she planned to make the most of it!
