Sorry, this story has been discontinued. No need to keep waiting.

[Dual Male Leads + Modern Setting + School Life + Police + Angst + Growth + Mutual Healing]

Reader's Guide: 1. The story includes school-life content in the early chapters, but not later on. If you only want a school-life story, you can stop here. 2. The male lead may seem a little weak early on, but this is a character-growth story. If that bothers you, you can stop here too.

Qiu Muqing has no parents and has always lived in an orphanage called Angel's Wings.

Since childhood, he has often dreamed of being locked in a small, dark room. Inside are a woman whose face he cannot make out and a violent-tempered man.

He always thought it was just a dream, until the day he met the man from it...

Only then did he realize that everything in the dream had really happened.

The man threatened and intimidated him, ordering him to stay away from the Xiao family. But by a twist of fate, Qiu Muqing was adopted by the Xiao family!

Later, the Xiao family sent Qiu Muqing abroad, but his flight was suddenly hijacked. The mysterious man was behind it, and he took Qiu Muqing back with him.

Qiu Muqing endured the humiliation and pretended to work for him, while secretly gathering evidence and winning people over.

Just as he was about to succeed, Xiao Chi was brought in. It was their first meeting since they had parted.

He had imagined all sorts of ways they might meet again, but never thought it would happen under these circumstances.

But Xiao Chi's eyes turned red as he viciously told Qiu Muqing that he hated him.
