The Apocalypse Is Here: I Play the Pig to Eat the Tiger and Slaughter Them All

[Slow-Paced + Apocalypse + All Kinds of People + Zombies + Escape + Human Conflict + Psychological Growth]

(No supernatural abilities! No supernatural abilities! No supernatural abilities! That's important, so I'll say it three times.)

He Xi is a university student, but one day she gets caught up in a murder case. Just as the truth is about to come to light, a zombie virus suddenly breaks out in her city. She knows who caused the outbreak, and all she can do is lead her family and friends from one hiding place to another. They repeatedly find themselves in danger, and repeatedly escape it. Along the way, He Xi witnesses the many sides of human nature and begins to struggle with herself. What, in the end, is the right thing to do?

(No golden finger, no fixed pairing, a coming-of-age story. The female lead is strong and no saint, but she will form a team and establish a base. No one is purely good or evil.)
