The Upright Man Who's Seen Every Kind of Woman

This is a full-length novel based on a true event.

In 1997, with just three years left until the 21st century, a young man just starting out in society, Xiao Feng (me), came up with an original idea to welcome the new age: publish a new Bible, solicit poems from presidents around the world celebrating the new century, and release them in a collection titled Poems of Praise by Presidents Around the World to Welcome the New Century. (This idea was ultimately never put into practice.)

Young Xiao Feng (me) set out into the world with this ambitious plan to work with presidents around the globe. Just ten minutes after arriving in Guangzhou, he was left with nothing: his travel bag had been stolen. Empty-handed, he began three extraordinary years of life, experiencing every kind of romance, including with a president's daughter, and living through stories full of unexpected twists, passion, and dazzling ideas. He went from trying to work with presidents around the world, to pursuing one woman, and finally found love in a mountain village that brought tears streaming from his eyes.
