In ancient times, everyone except demons was classified as part of the Spirit Beast Clan. However, the Qilin, Vermilion Bird, Chi You, and Phoenix Clans belonged to the Divine Beast Clan. A war broke out between them over certain matters. The Phoenix Clan emerged victorious... and should have had survivors, but was mysteriously wiped out. Fortunately, the Goddess, who is born only once every five hundred years, survived that war and went to experience the mortal world. Both the Divine Clan and the Demon Realm feared her existence... In a distant place lies the Land of the Supreme God. Its inhabitants are the Goddess's most trusted followers, but they are forbidden to interfere until she returns...
Shenyin nearly fell apart, but fortunately, the cause was changed in time. However, the Goddess disappeared, leaving behind only the cold, lifeless Tears of the Gods.
