Crossing Worlds to Break Up Couples

A newbie writing fanfic for fun. I’ll do my best to keep the plot logical and the characters in character. If they do go OOC, well, there’s nothing I can do about it (giving up completely).

Terrible blurb:

Jiujiu is forcibly bound to a System and taken to various worlds to break up CPs. As she transmigrates again and again, she gradually discovers that the System’s real purpose is not, as it claims, to save the small worlds, but...

Just as the System is about to erase her, a mysterious person suddenly appears to help her, allowing her to escape the System for the time being. To truly break free of the System’s control and return to her own world, Jiujiu begins searching for the truth, hoping to find a chance to survive...

Content warnings:

The story follows the original plot, so there may be a lot of the original storyline.

Anything that differs from the original work is simply my own headcanon. I really can’t be bothered to look it all up.

This story breaks up CPs (meaning couples with a bond, which isn’t necessarily romantic. The previous setup was romance-focused, but that felt limiting, so I’ve revised it).

The CP breakups and romance routes aren’t conventional. Some of the System’s assigned targets will be broken up, and others won’t.

This isn’t a story about an extraordinary heroine. At heart, the female lead is still an ordinary person.

There may be melodrama. I’m a sucker for it, and I love reading it.

Progress:

Volume 1: Death’s Game, complete (Jiu x Ruan x Ling, bonus chapter released)

Volume 2: The Outcast, complete (Jiu x Ye Zong)

Volume 3: The Story of Saiunkoku, in progress (Jiu x Zi; breaking up the canon couple; I ship Xiu x Jing in this story)
