[Reunion After Years Apart] [Age Gap] [Both Leads Are Each Other’s First and Only] [Second Male Lead’s Redemption]
Arrogant, ruthless troublemaker vs. sweet beauty in a qipao
Meng Ya has a notorious reputation. People look down on her as an “illegitimate daughter,” and the Meng family uses her as a tool to curry favor with the powerful.
Her beauty is her original sin, and also her weapon.
Fu Qianzhou is worlds apart from her: the aloof heir to the Fu family, high above everyone else in Hong Kong. Yet these two, so different from one another, can’t help becoming entangled.
-
At a banquet aboard a Victoria Harbour cruise ship, rumors spread that the Meng family’s second daughter is to marry a man over fifty. Everyone waits to see her make a fool of herself.
But before everyone’s eyes, Meng Yao appears in a dazzling, custom-made qipao and walks gracefully up to the newly appointed head of the Fu family.
The hall falls deathly silent.
The girl asks sweetly, “Uncle, do you still mean what you said?”
The man’s gaze is inscrutable. “I’m seven years older than you.”
“Age doesn’t matter. I don’t mind that you’re old.”
He stubs out his cigarette, catches her wrist, and gives it a tug. The girl falls onto his lap.
Everyone is horrified, but Fu Qianzhou acts as if nothing happened. Raising an eyebrow with a smile, he says, “Isn’t it tiring to stand while you talk? Sit here.”
-
Later, word gets around that a female secretary has joined the Fu Group’s CEO’s office. The supposedly untouchable head of the Fu family takes her everywhere he goes.
Aboard a Gulfstream G650 business jet, the male lead holds the woman’s jade-white ankle and gently massages it, his voice husky. “Baby, why don’t you step on me?”
-
“I clawed my way out of the mud at the bottom of the abyss. Even in the endless darkness, I once prayed for light.”, Meng Yao.
“I spent my whole life just to stand up for you.”, Fu Qianzhou
Reading guide: The heroine's former attribute was a delicate baby, and she gradually showed her inner core. She was not just a vase, but she could still be coquettish in front of the male protagonist. The male protagonist speaks his mind to the outside world and uses ruthless methods. He is domineering and venomous towards the female protagonist, and his father is gentle to the point of being possessive. This time I tried to add some plot flow and slap in the face counterattack, with varying proportions to the emotional flow. The overall trend is sour and sweet. There may be a wholesale Ferrari in the middle, and there may be a sour taste in the later period. Only HE is certain. Except for the actual place names on Hong Kong Island, there will be a small amount of Cantonese, and the rest are empty. The writing is still a work in progress. (The final right of interpretation of the above content belongs to myself)
It's good to read, super good to read. I've been following it since the first one. Cun Cun has finally opened a new book.
