The Princes’ Clique All Pretended to Be Poor and Played Me for a Fool

I've Been Reading for Ten Years and I'm Out of Books. Looking for Two Strong Leads, Subtle Emotions, and No Forced Brain-Dead Moments

I want a story with a capable male and female lead, both excelling in their own fields and strong in their own right. Their relationship should develop naturally and logically: seemingly calm on the surface, but burning deep inside, the kind of love that gets into your bones. No sudden, forced dumbing down of either character.
