My name is Yan San. In the Northeastern accent, my name naturally ends with an "r" sound.
I didn't think much of it as a kid, but after "mistress" became a popular term, God knows how much I hated people calling me San'er or Xiao San'er.
I was born in 1988 and grew up in a small mountain village in Liaoning, Northeast China: Zhaobi Village, Guanshan Town.
Looking at myself a hundred years ago, I couldn't help taking off my mask. But afraid of changing the future, all I could do was watch the endless cycle.
