Help! What Do I Do When the Male Lead Won't Follow the Script?

One day, Liu Yunyi suddenly discovers that she has transmigrated into a book, and that her direct superior, Ji Tingxiao, is actually the male lead. The female lead, An Ranran, is about to meet him.

As an utterly ordinary wage slave who only wants to make money and retire safely, Liu Yunyi decides she has to make sure the male and female leads' romance goes smoothly, so she can live to a ripe old age.

What? You're saying the male and female leads aren't interested in each other at all?

And the reason is that Ji Tingxiao likes me?

That can't be right. No way!

Liu Yunyi: "Don't you think you're the protagonists of this world? If you don't get together, something terrible might happen."

Ji Tingxiao: "I don't know what you're talking about, but even if the world were destroyed, I would still choose you without hesitation."

Liu Yunyi is confused. Liu Yunyi doesn't understand. Liu Yunyi is horrified.

Wait, who said the world would be destroyed if they didn't fall in love?

Everyone envies Liu Yunyi for her good fortune. Ji Tingxiao, heir to the powerful Ji family, does whatever she says. This imposing iceberg, who keeps everyone else at arm's length, turns tender and affectionate whenever she's around.

Liu Yunyi eats the fruit Ji Tingxiao has peeled for her. "I guess the rumors about him aren't wrong after all."
