Shen Mingqin is a model young man of the new generation: he doesn't gamble, smoke, or drink, and he's handsome and kindhearted. Yet despite all that, he repeatedly hits a wall when looking for a job after graduation.
Downhearted, he stops at a small convenience store and buys a bottle of iced tea to cool off. Just as he's happily gulping it down, a wave of dizziness hits him. He manages to glance at the bottle in his hand and discovers that it's expired.
After cursing the unscrupulous store owner, he collapses and doesn't get back up. When he wakes, he finds himself in an unfamiliar place, along with a System that claims to be a handsome guy.
From the System, he learns that he's transmigrated into the body of a novel character with the same name, a cannon-fodder character who bullies the protagonist throughout kindergarten and eventually pays a terrible price.
After reading the plot, Shen Mingqin nearly blacks out. Luckily, he arrived just in time: the protagonist hasn't transferred to the kindergarten yet, so there's still a chance to change things.
The System tells him to win the protagonist's favor and follow the plot. Only then can he earn a fortune and a healthy body. If he fails the mission, he'll be annihilated.
Shen Mingqin couldn't ask for more. Everyone knows that picking a fight with the protagonist never ends well.
But as he diligently and conscientiously works to raise the protagonist's favorability, things gradually begin to change…
