With a dual metal-and-fire spirit root, he became a righteous cultivator of Qingyuan Temple. Though he initially made eliminating demons and defending the Way his life's mission, for various reasons he fell to the demonic path. From then on, he lived by killing for treasure, ganging up on the weak, and betraying others, always with his life on the line.
