The Bodhisattva Precepts of the Yogacara is attributed to Bodhisattva Maitreya. It comes from the chapter on precepts in the Bodhisattva Ground, the first section of the Basic Section of the Yogacara-bhumi Shastra, volumes 40 and 41, translated by Xuanzang in the Tang dynasty in 649 CE. It sets out four major precepts and forty-three minor precepts.
Precepts are the foundation of supreme Bodhi, and one should uphold pure precepts with one heart. I benefited a lot from reading it.
