Siheyuan: Get a Hundredfold Cash Rebate, and Make the Neighbors Weep

In the first episode of *The Birds Fill the Courtyard*, He Yuzhu is completely dumbfounded. His dad is back? And he's shoving money into his hands? It turns out He Yuzhu has unexpectedly gained a golden finger: Every penny he spends gets refunded to him twofold! He Yuzhu: “Dad, in a few years, everyone might be going hungry. We'd better watch our spending.” His dad: “Didn't I tell you to spend it all? How come you've still got a penny in your pocket? Get out!” He Yuzhu: “I've already bought two bicycles. How do I still have so much money?” His dad: “Does our family need that little bit of money? You haven't got an ounce of manly spirit!” Xu Damao: “Silly Zhu's really gone stupid now. He can't even afford food, and he's buying bicycles!” Yan Bugui: “I told you your dad was no good. He kicked you out, didn't he?” Qin Huairu: “Silly Zhu, don't waste all that money. Save some for me, too!” Yi Zhonghai: “Zhuzi, take it easy. You'll still have to support me in my old age!” He Yuzhu: “It's nothing. I bought this whole street.”
