I've read quite a few popular tragic-ending novels. Apart from See Spring, which made me cry, the rest were just okay, neither especially good nor especially bad. The only one I thought was awful was No One Rescued Him from the Deep Sea; the others I've read so far have been decent. I strongly recommend See Spring.
