Hundreds of years ago, evil spirits invaded Blue Star in great numbers, taking from humanity the peaceful home it depended on. Since then, absolute peace has become something humanity can no longer reach!
The evil spirits slaughtered the people of Huaxia with abandon, leaving devastation everywhere. The nation was plunged into disaster, the heavens seemed to collapse, bloodshed shook the sky, and not a blade of grass survived in their wake!
Evil spirits with all kinds of strange abilities darted between skyscrapers and buildings, followed by creatures they had corrupted, trampling homes to ruin!
The invasion also brought Blue Star an environment rich in energy. In time, humans began breaking through their limits and awakening supernatural abilities. People said awakening felt like taking hold of the scepter of the world: gripping the scepter that existed between reality and the virtual. Thus, those who awakened were called Spirit Awakeners, and their bizarre abilities were called "Scepters." Over the following centuries, many powerful figures emerged, and they categorized the abilities that appeared into five domains: "Slaughter," "Law," "Grant," "Bind," and "Void."
Su Xiaobai was an ordinary food delivery rider who took odd jobs all over the place. Then, by chance, he found the World Tree and seized the World Seed, embarking on the path to becoming the Lord of the World!
"How can there be a tree this enormous in the world?!"
Yue Xiaobai stared in shock at the divine tree towering before him, its crown reaching into the void.
