Song of the Azure Cloud Sword

Five hundred years ago, the Demon God rampaged across the mortal realm, laying waste to all living things. Thankfully, the Confucian Sage-led Penglai Immortal Island, Huanglong Temple under the Buddhist Sage, Kunlun Mountain guarded by the Daoist Sage, and Qingyun Sect, which possessed the Immortal-Slaying Sword, united as three teachings and one sect. Together, they sealed the Demon God in Demon-Sealing Valley and laid four powerful seals. But time passed and the world changed. After centuries of erosion, the four seals began to break. The otherworldly Peony Pavilion, the Ten Thousand Poisons Sect, and other demonic factions stirred, seeking to undo the seals and resurrect the Demon God. All under heaven faced a grave crisis.

Ten years after the two great human dynasties, Shengjin and Xiqin, went to war, the political climate was rife with hidden currents. Power struggles raged at court, border conflicts continued, and another great war was on the brink of breaking out.

Qingyun Sect had produced no Sword Immortal for a hundred years, but now a host of prodigies emerged: Li Chengfeng, Yuan Muye, Xiao Ling'er, Hua Qingfeng, Zhou Xueqing, and others. See how they pursue the path they have chosen to uphold and cultivate into Sword Immortals admired by all. As they seek immortality through cultivation, these young people are drawn into court and martial-world conflicts by the secrets of their origins. Watch them defend their homeland and uphold justice. The romances between the protagonists are also beset by hardship: can they clear away the clouds and find their happy endings? As the poem goes: Young swordsmen seek the Dao within, with wine they roam beneath the azure sky. Swords dance and petals rise with the breeze, while drunken dreams of love leave hearts unsettled.
