I Got Famous by Hiding My Face

Yu Qingqing was suppressed in her very first role by a rising actress backed by a wealthy patron. From then on, she had no chance to make it big. Her makeup was deliberately made ugly on variety shows, and her scenes were always cut from the dramas she appeared in.

Even her company had given up on her.

Just as she and her rookie agent were clasping hands and gazing at each other through tearful eyes,

a faceless talent competition show suddenly appeared.

Yu Qingqing and her rookie agent thought it over: this was their chance!

So she wore an enormous sunflower costume all the way from the auditions to the finale, and even caught the attention of the boy she'd known as a child.

The boy from her childhood followed her around, bringing her opportunities and lowering his own status to promote her.

Now a huge star, Yu Qingqing tossed her head proudly. “No need. I can make it on my own!”
