A Tycoon Joins a Slow-Paced Variety Show as Filler and Accidentally Becomes a Sensation

Su Xingwan's father is a major investor, and so is her older brother. She figured she ought to become a major investor too. Unfortunately, every project she invested in went bust. Undeterred, Su Xingwan invested in another laid-back reality show. This time, she joined the show as an ordinary guest, livestreaming and filming alongside a group of A-list stars. She planned to keep a close eye on the project from start to finish. Before filming began, the director practically got down on his knees and begged her to just sit quietly in the background and, whatever she did, not ruin the show. Su Xingwan nodded. She wanted the show to succeed even more than the director did. She'd invested every last bit of her assets in the project. If it failed too, she'd be bankrupt and forced to change careers. But on the very first day of filming, Su Xingwan's foodie side came out. When no one was looking, she slurped down the spaghetti the Best Actor had carefully made for a rising starlet, eating it like zhajiang noodles. The catch? The Best Actor had made enough for five people. Everyone who learned the truth: ... That day, a video of Su Xingwan hugging a basin and secretly wolfing down spaghetti hit the trending list and went viral across the internet. Su Xingwan herself became famous too... Su Xingwan: “Uh... That wasn't what I intended.” Best Actor: “It's fine. If you like noodles, I'll make them for you for the rest of your life.” Content warning: First contemporary romance, a writing exercise, a little chaotic. Read with caution if that's not your thing.
