Three Kingdoms: I Became Dong Zhuo's Son

A chaotic age is a stage for heroes, but a lament for the common people.

Dong Qiu was a man who should never have existed in history, yet he entered the historical stage as the only child of Dong Zhuo, the overlord of Xiliang.

As the son of a warlord in a time of chaos, he cared for the common people and aspired to rule the world. With the ambition to slay dragons, what path would he take in this tumultuous age?

To keep the Dong clan from being wiped out as it was in history, and to protect those he cherished, he resolutely embarked on a campaign to conquer the war-torn realm. He defeated Liu Yan, Cao Cao, Yuan Shao, Gongsun Zan, Liu Biao, and Sun Ce. In the end, the realm was unified under his rule, and the title of Mighty King Yongwei was passed down through the generations, recorded in the annals and celebrated in the writings of learned men.

Cao Cao: “Are we men of this troubled age destined to die? Has the Han realm truly fallen into the hands of the Dong family?”

Yuan Shao: “My Yuan clan of Runan has held the Three Excellencies for four generations. The Dong family was once no more than a household retainer under my clan, yet they defeated me and seized the realm from my hands.”

Sun Jian: “Is my dream of founding a great dynasty in Jiangdong truly impossible?”

Liu Bei: “Dong Qiu’s existence is a misfortune for the realm, and a misfortune for the Han.”

Dong Qiu: “Had I not been here, who knows how many would have proclaimed themselves emperor or king?”

Guo Jia: “I possess the art of slaying dragons, and wish to offer it to you.”

Sima Hui: “He is a flood dragon lurking in the depths of the sea. When the time comes, he will ride the wind and transform into a true dragon.”

Pang Degong: “No. Rather than a hidden flood dragon, he is a mighty dragon trapped in an abyss. The moment he breaks free of his shackles, he will soar into the heavens and make all the people bow at his feet.”
