My Sword Spirit Wife

Synopsis: Just as An Wuyou was about to confess his feelings to his senior sister, he caught a fleeting murderous glint in her eyes. So he quickly changed course and confessed to her sword instead. From then on, he had an ancient sword spirit for a girlfriend. He thought, “I guess I’m in love, but my sweetheart is a sword?” And so he found himself in a sweet romance. Heh heh. But the good times didn’t last. A junior disciple, driven by selfish desires, broke the seal suppressing an ancient fiend. As the sole being of her kind from ancient times, his sword spirit girlfriend was duty-bound to suppress the fiend. In the end, she succeeded, but vanished from the world in the process. He called out again and again, “Feng Yu, come back! Feng Yu, please come back!” But how could Feng Yu possibly return? He had cried until he had no tears left and shouted until his voice was hoarse, as if he had become a monster without a trace of expression. It seemed everything had finally settled, with only the Feng Yu Sword still spinning in midair. Everything else lay in utter silence. Thirteen years later, guided by the sword’s resonance, he found the fragments of her soul scattered across the mortal realm. He never expected that when they met again, she would be the Chancellor’s legitimate daughter, a foolish young woman who moved slowly and was shunned by her family elders because she had been intellectually disabled and slow-witted since childhood.
