After being reborn, Su Wanqing meant to escape the wolf’s den, only to be forced into the dragon’s lair instead...

At first, she vied for favor so she could eat her fill and stay warm.

Then she vied for favor so the emperor would always remember her.

Su Wanqing thought she had finally become the only one in the emperor’s heart,

only to discover she was merely a substitute...

Su Wanqing had planned to drift through life in a daze,

but in the harem, even if you don’t go looking for trouble, trouble will come looking for you.

The Emperor: I dote on you, and it still isn’t enough? What exactly do you want?

Later, Su Wanqing sits beside the dying emperor and says, “I know all your secrets. Tell me, what do you think I want...”
