After the An Lushan Rebellion, the Tang Dynasty steadily declines. As the state crumbles, a new dynasty is poised to emerge. This is an alternate-history novel. Most novels begin with the rise or fall of a dynasty, but this one continues the legend from the middle and later years of the Tang. I will do my best to make the fictional elements fit the historical setting and major events of each year, and I hope readers will enjoy it. This work contains no romance, and the protagonist is not invincible, so readers who enjoy romance novels should proceed with caution.
