Symphony of Wind and Thunder

In the late Western Han Dynasty, corrupt officials ran rampant and the people suffered. Lei Clan, the greatest sect and the Han Dynasty’s leading source of talented generals, suddenly lost its clan leader to murder, plunging the entire clan into crisis. The imperial court had no choice but to rely on the Ju Li Manor. But the manor was nowhere near as powerful as Lei Clan had once been, and its forces were depleted in battles against the Han Bing Sect, Lie Huo Sect, Tang Clan, and others. Though it emerged victorious as the greatest sect, only those of its direct bloodline could practice its martial arts, leaving it with few members.

Xi Men Lei, the orphaned heir of Lei Clan, escaped under the protection of its First Elder and went into hiding. He met Feng Ying'er in Fengbo Valley, and ten years later, the two set out together to make their way in the martial world.
